Chess Club

Grades K–8
Wednesdays, 3:05–4:05 PM
A classic favorite that builds patience, focus, and strategy. Players of all levels are welcome to learn, compete, and have fun.

Spring Season
Students experience the excitement of live performance while developing confidence, teamwork, and artistic skills. Everyone has a role — from stage to set design!

Golf

Our after-school golf program meets on Fridays after early release and introduces students to the fundamentals of grip, stance, swing, and short game in a fun, encouraging environment. Lessons build focus, patience, and sportsmanship for all skill levels.

National Junior Honor Society

Grades 1–8
Wednesdays, 3:00–3:45 PM (October–December)
NJHS members provide peer tutoring in reading, math, and study skills. Sessions promote academic excellence and mentorship across grade levels.

Grades 5–12

Cub Scouts (2026)

Grades K–5
Our Cub Scout Pack at OLPH Scottsdale is currently paused after COVID, but we’re gathering parent volunteers to relaunch in April 2026, just in time for family camps and summer activities. Parents interested in leading a Cub den (5–8 kids) or helping restart the pack are encouraged to connect. Contact Scoutmaster Eugene Tharalson.
