About OLPH

Building strong foundations in academics, character, and Catholic values in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Building Bright Futures Rooted in Tradition

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School (OLPH) is a thriving Preschool through 8th Grade community located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, serving families since 1956.

As part of the Diocese of Phoenix, OLPH provides a dynamic, faith-based education that blends academic excellence, moral formation, and innovative learning. The school is fully accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and integrates STEM, the arts, world language, and leadership development to prepare students for success in high school and beyond.

Small class sizes, a caring faculty, and a strong partnership with parents create an environment where every student is known, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. From the curiosity of preschoolers to the confidence ofmiddle school leaders, OLPH cultivates

lifelong learners who think critically, serve generously, and lead with integrity.

The OLPH campus features a state-of-the-art STEM lab designed for hands-on, inquiry-based learning, as well as a comprehensive arts and enrichment program that includes music, visual art, Spanish, and athletics. The licensed early childhood program serves preschool and transitional kindergarten students in a nurturing, play-based setting. A vibrant faith and service program connects classroom learning with the broader Scottsdale community, encouraging students to live their values through action.

Rooted in tradition and guided by the values of Knowledge, Love, and Service, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School remains a place where faith and future meet—a community dedicated to inspiring hearts, shaping minds, and preparing students to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Catholic Education Arizona (CEA)

Catholic Education Arizona (CEA) is one of the largest tuition support programs serving Catholic schools across the Diocese of Phoenix. Through CEA, Arizona taxpayers can redirect the state income taxes they already owe to help fund scholarships for families in our Catholic schools. Awards are granted based on financial need, and CEA scholarships can be combined with other STO awards for additional assistance. Families should remember that CEA and STOs cannot be used together with ESA — each year, you’ll choose one path. The great news is that both options make an OLPH Catholic education affordable and accessible, and our admissions team is here to guide you through the process.

School Tuition Organizations (STOs)

School Tuition Organizations (STOs) provide scholarships by allowing Arizona taxpayers to redirect their state income tax dollars to help families afford private education. STOs award these redirected funds as tuition scholarships, and families may apply to more than one STO to maximize their award. STO scholarships can also be combined with Catholic Education Arizona (CEA), giving families even more support. However, STOs and CEA cannot be used in the same year as ESA—you’ll select either ESA or the tax credit path. OLPH partners with families to navigate applications to multiple STOs and ensure every child has access to Catholic education.

Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)

The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) is Arizona’s state-funded tuition program, providing families with approximately $6,000–$7,000 per student per year to use for private school tuition, books, and fees. Instead of sending your child to public school, this funding can be redirected to support a Catholic education at OLPH. Families should know that ESA is an either/or program—if you choose ESA, you cannot also use tax credit scholarships (like CEA or STOs) in the same school year. Our team will help you determine if ESA is the best path for your child, and guide you every step of the way.
