Bright Beginnings at OLPH Preschool

Building a foundation of faith, wonder, and learning in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Inspiring Curiosity and Confidence in Young Learners

At Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School, our preschool program offers a joyful introduction to faith-filled learning. Designed for children ages 3–5, OLPH Preschool nurtures the whole child — academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally — through hands-on discovery, prayer, and play. Guided by caring teachers and grounded in Catholic values, children build confidence, kindness, and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Every Child’s Journey Begins with Discovery, Joy, and Faith

Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Preschool is a licensed childcare facility, providing a warm, faith-filled foundation where children feel loved, safe, and inspired to learn. Every day is filled with hands-on discovery, guided play, and early lessons in kindness, responsibility, and faith. Our teachers blend joyful learning with the core values of Catholic education — helping each child grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

We understand that every child develops at their own pace, which is why OLPH offers three levels of preschool designed to meet children where they are. From first friendships and story time to early academics and prayer, every moment helps nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. By the time our preschoolers enter kindergarten, they’re not just ready to succeed — they’re eager to shine.

Preschool (3–4-Year-Olds)

Our Preschool program provides a gentle introduction to the classroom environment. Through guided play, hands-on activities, and faith-centered lessons, children begin developing early academic, social, and motor skills. Teachers focus on building independence, sharing, listening, and the joy of learning — all within a safe and nurturing Catholic setting.

Focus areas: early literacy and numeracy, fine motor development, prayer and song, social-emotional growth, and creative expression.

Pre-Kindergarten (4–5-Year-Olds)

Our Pre-Kindergarten program builds on the preschool foundation to ensure children are fully prepared for success in kindergarten. With a balance of structured learning and play-based exploration, Pre-K students deepen their skills in reading readiness, number sense, and problem-solving while continuing to grow in faith, kindness, and confidence.

Focus areas: early reading and writing, hands-on STEM play, leadership and cooperation, and daily practice of Catholic values.

Transitional-K (5-Year-Olds)

Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program helps children build confidence and readiness before entering kindergarten. Through structured learning, hands-on activities, and guided play, students strengthen early academic and social skills in a nurturing Catholic environment. Teachers focus on routines, cooperation, and responsibility to help students transition smoothly into Kindergarten.

Focus areas: kindergarten readiness, early literacy and math skills, social-emotional growth, independence, and Catholic values.
